1. Starbucks provides a lot of value to and for its customers. As I was reading Starbucks mission statement, I noticed the company really strives for a welcoming environment where you would want to come do work, get a coffee, and just chill. I feel as though the company targets more millennials. Starbucks is a place where I would want to go do homework while getting an awesome Frappuccino. “To inspire and nurture the human spirit – one person, one cup and one neighborhood at a time.” One big core value I saw on their website was community service. Starbucks employees connect with communities to give opportunities that help that local neighborhood. “Spice up the season!” The latest promotion on the Starbucks website is offering the fall favorite, Pumpkin Spice Latte. You know it is fall when everything is flavored with pumpkin. In this promotion the company is selling two fall favorites. Salted Caramel Mocha and Pumpkin Spice Latte. It doesn’t stop there! No matter the weather, hot or cold, you can have either of the choices served hot for the colder days of fall, iced for the heat wave we are experiencing now, or blended. No matter what kind of day you’re having, Starbucks has you covered. This creates more profit for the company. By offering more choices, there is more of a chance the customer will find something they like, and then they will purchase it.
5. Starbucks charges so much more for a latte because they can. The coffee and tea is better quality than its competitors. You also pay for the logo. When you walk into Starbucks and buy an expensive coffee or latte, people will look at you like you have money.
