I firmly believe that strong fundamentals in the core subject are very essential to develop expertise in such a niche field where amongst my broad subjects in electrical, computer and communication technologies, of particular interest to me were Microprocessors and VLSI. A CGPA of secured for me an overall third position in the University besides a Scholar’s grade awarded by the Head of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), a premier technical body. y minor project in the 3rd year of my undergrad program on Infrared Remote Control Switch involving design/realization of the circuit for controlling electrical home appliances using IR sensors in an operating range of 10 meters gave me a hands-on experience in circuit design and analysis. My projects on Temperature Controlled clothing, Image / Signal processing and the final year project on Automatic Number Plate Recognition strengthened my knowledge base on the same subject. I realized the power of properly designed microprocessors/microcontrollers in reducing transmission losses through low power dissipation while at Strategic Technology Division of Tata Power (a Power utility company) for my first internship. My second internship at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) with their Niche Technology Group involved setting up a real-time SMS gateway for a chat between the server and the nodes using new modules like ejabberd and RabbitMQ using Python language. This brought out the power that could be packed in terms of embedded systems through clever engineering.
My current work assignment as a Data Analyst with a pan-India Logistics company involves practical application of my knowledge in commercial route planning / optimization, reverse logistics and quality monitoring of cold-chain products. This relies heavily on an ERP based real time data achieved through tracking GPRS devices installed on the vehicles and Temperature
