Statement Of Purpose: Lizbeth De La Cruz

I, Lizbeth De La Cruz will be going to college. I have made this decision because I believe that getting a higher education opens up your mind a lot more. Everything you learn in elementary, high school, and college contradicts each other. I want to learn more, open my mind and soul to all this higher power/knowledge that I yet have to learn. I want to go to California State University Stanislaus. I will start small by going to the library there, reading and writing as much as I possibly can to expand my horizons by self educating first. I would like to take a philosophy class and history class just for the fun of it. My major will be in chemistry because I would like to become a chemistry teacher.
I, Lizbeth De La Cruz want to gain a lot of
knowledge from my college experience and also have some fun. I would like to get my degree in teaching and chemistry. I would like that because I want to become a chemistry teacher. Also having a higher education makes some people respect you more. When I go to college I want to be more involved in social circles. I want to be in clubs that are involved in fun activities. I believe the parties are a huge part of college and I would want to be a part of that. College would be a great experience for everyone who goes, I believe I would grow in many ways. Ways that include my brain, soul, and body.
