to very unpleasant thoughts of my physical appearence but sadly enough, an eating disorder. Nowadays, social media is such a powerful part of many teens lives. When we browse though the web or simply check our Instagram we often scroll onto a picture or ad containing a beautiful woman . Most of us know that the flawless pictures we find have been enhanced. Yet it’s still hard to convince ourselves that the pictures we pore over are fantasy, not real. Seeing is believing. Having said this I think labeling photoshopped images is a great idea, However the scale system is not the best way to go about it.
I think that that the scale system will only put more restrictions on modeling agencies picking skinnier models to avoiding getting a higher number slapped on the photo. Which again would result in aspiring models or adolecence having more chances in developing a eating disorder to be more acceptable and "perfect". I think if it's photoshopped in any way then it should be labeled to let the viewer know it's not anything to compare themselves to.
