People experience change on every stage of their life. The older people become, the greater challenges they are going to face. Moreover, the number of unemployed old people is going to rise. Improvements in health care and medicine make people live longer than they used to be. Katie Allen writes, "By 2020 a third of the working-age population will be over 50. If employers are reluctant to hire them, there could be huge costs in benefit payments and lost spending power. There is also the loss to employers as they struggle to fill vacancies" (The guardian).
With the progressive growth of technology young people will morel likely get a job that demands working with computer. Despite of it graduates still face unemployment. Finding showed that the " Experiences of age discrimination were more common for younger groups, with under-25s at least twice as likely to have experienced it than other age groups" (Graham Snowdon).
In Europe Britain has one of the worst records of age discrimination. Nearly two out of five people complain about the lack of respect at a workplace because of their age. However the problem in Russia, Ukraine Romania, the Czech Republic and Slovakia is even worse.
