When you hear the word teenager you think of lazy, irresponsible, ungrateful, narcissistic, or clueless youth that has no intention to do good. Adults stereotyping teens has many affects on teens. False stereotyping by adults has a negative effect on a teens self essteem, and how they respond to situations in the future. Even other teens can see how adults portray them negatively. Teens can’t be perfect when ask about a major problem in school, 64% of teens said disrespect toward teachers. 56% of the teens a worldwide problem about teens is their selfishness. The teenagers around the world know about their actions, and selfishness because of how they respond to the study. But, not every teenager is a selfishness, ungrateful brat. When an adult sees one teenager do a bad thing, the adult the generalize that all teens are bad. But that’s not true. In a study, it showed that about 81% of teens try to do things to help out the
