Steve Jobs is known for making one of Americas most successful company, Apple, Steve may have started the company in his families garage but now it is a multi billion dollar company all because one man had a dream. Steve's legacy is still being left behind. Steve Jobs has positively benefited modern society by improving the world of smartphones and changing the way people watch TV, play games, and research with the invention of the IPad.
Steve Jobs significantly benefitted modern society by improving the world of smartphones. In the modern 21st century Apple inventions have been dictating the evolution of modern technology and the way phones are used. (Steve Jobs Biography) IPhones have impacted the way the world uses their phones. Instead
of just being able to call or text on a phone with the IPhone you have the ability to search the web, use social media, take pictures ,and play games. With a touch of your fingers you can do just about anything. On January 9th 2007 apple created the IPhone, sales increased by 46%, consumer demand is still high causing Apple to create a new version of the IPhone year after year.(All About Steve Jobs) To this day IPhone are being sold by the minute, every year Apple comes out with their newest IPhone . Before Apple IPhones there were many companies making smartphones like Blackberry, Android, and Samsung when apple came out with their first iPhone it made companies such as Blackberry not able to compete with Apples extraordinary invention Blackberry is now to this day out of service and no longer around. In October 2001 Apple released the first line of iPods every since then the evolution of a small portable device that can do just about everything has been on the rise. Following the IPod Apple thought why not create a device able to call and text with a service company. The IPod is the ground of the iPhone everything on an iPod can do an IPhone can do better. A few things were changed such as being able to use the device without Wi-Fi instead with data, creating a way to text and call from a device, and being able to play music and search the web at the same time. Even though Steve jobs was un able to be around to introduce the iPad he created all the features in it. His design was used in all of Apples inventions not just the iPad. Many consumer reviews have stated that the iPad was the “greatest thing Apple has ever done”. (Steve jobs biography) Having the same features as the iPhone but being 10x bigger might just be the reason it’s the greatest thing apples done.
