HOW STEVE JOBS HAS CHANGED THE WORLD WITH APPLE
Steve Jobs was one of the giants of the information age, and his influence will be felt for decades to come. Jobs introduced us to multiple products that have changed the lives of many. Job’s was born in 1955 in San Francisco, California. He was a US electrical engineer and computer inventor. In 1976 along with Steve Wozniak they formed Apple Computers (Hefner 2005) Getting to know Steve Jobs personally is not a hard task with internet being the way it is. He was an adopted son. Jobs did not finish college and instead decided to travel and study Buddhism. In 1976 he co-founded Apple. Steve married Lauren Powell in 1991. In September 1991 they had their
first child, a son, Reed. They had two more children, Erin and Eve. They raised their children in Palo Alto, California. (Hefner 2005)
Steve Jobs has introduced many life changing products to the world. He, along with Apple has created products such as the IPod, IPhone, IPad and the MacBook. You don’t see many people without one or more of these products. They make life easier as well as more fun. They make millions of dollars every year. Jobs biggest contribution that no one is talking about is how he has created jobs for millions of people and created new markets. There were 1,027,000 jobs created or supported by apple in the United States. Apple has 66,000 employees in the United States alone. (Menns 1991) In my opinion Steve Jobs has changed the world and even though he has passed away his legacy will live on and continue to change the world.
