He satirically addresses political issues through his murals and uses public walls to give people ownership of his art. It is the shared values and assumptions with the viewer that Banksy conveys in his art which gives him a credible brand name. Banksy verifies all his work on his website where he posts his murals. To put things into perspective, in his Steve Jobs mural, Banksy appeals to people’s values and assumptions by portraying one of the greatest innovators of our era and setting light to the fact that he was once a refugee.
