The Author of the book is Anthony Horowitz And he was born fifth april 1955 in London.Holowitz works with novels, screenwriting and books for children and teenagers. Some series and books written by this author are The Diamond Brothers, Mindgame and the Alex rider series. Holowitz has also written scripts for Agatha Christie's Poirot and The Midsummer murders. Anthony was born in a rich jewish family with an upperclass life.
He’s School experience was horrible and the reason was that he was often beaten by his headmaster. At the the age of 13 he shifted to Rugby School and discovered his love for writting.
He kept on studing and graduated from the University of York with a BA in English literature in 1977.
The book I have read is Stormbreaker and it is only one out of nine books in the Alex rider series. The story is placed in london in present time. The book is about the young Alex rider who lives with his uncle Ian rider and a houce made. He is told that Ian died from being in a car accident where he was not wearing a seat-belt, which Alex and his housekeeper find strange becuase Ian always wore a seatbelt.
He discovers his uncle's car at a dump site with multiple gun shot’s on car. He is contacted by the MI6 who explains for him that Ian worked for them and that Alex was trained all his life as an agent uncounsly been trained for becoming an agent.
Then Alex cuts school, and decides to investigate. a revolutionary new computer, the Stormbreaker, and will give one free to every secondary school in the United Kingdom, he is deployed to Herod Sayle's base in Cornwall (using the alias of another boy who won a competition to visit the Sayle entreprises.
While investigating the base, Alex sees several of Sayle's agents unloading metal cases with great care from a nuclear submarine.
