Stress and stress management: What is stress and how to manage it ? Stress is defined as a force that tends to strain or deform (b) mental emotional or physical tension, strain or distress-(v) to put emphasis on (c ) to subject to strain or pressure. Stress is a unwanted feeling of emotions and physiological arousal that some experience in certain situations. Stress can mean different things to various people. People have said; “That stress can cause them to feel tension, pressure and negative emotion. With this said, people become depressed have anxiety or elevated heart rates. Some feel that stress is a everyday experience. Most people feel stress at different times. there are three different types of stress that we experience often. The first type of stress is prolonged the next is unexpected and the final one is unmanageable stress. Research has noted that all people become stress. During my research I found that babies, children ,adult men and women have stress and that they can have the same types of stressors but deal with them in different ways. How you can manage your stress is very significant to your body , mind and health. Some say that they are good and bad stresses. The best ways to know what is healthy and bad for you is knowing the signs of stress and how to deal with each one. Studies has shown that the best and most efficient way to reduce stress is excising daily along with mediation and other techniques. In my research I will be addressing various questions on stress and how to manage it in your life and how to help others.
What is stress? Stress is a term in psychology and biology, first coined in the 1930, which has in more recent cades become a common place of popular parlance.(psychology encyclopedia ). Stress can become an everyday factor in our lives.
