If you only focus on what you want and how to get there then you might forget to actually accomplish what we put to mind. It’s good that you want to be happy, but it shouldn’t be your main focus of the day. Working towards happiness can take years of one’s life and shouldn’t be expected to come within a day. I’m not saying that you shouldn’t at least try to become happy, but let it come to you don’t chase after it. Just like Konnikova said we can forget to be happy focusing too much on achieving happiness. Live in the moment and don’t worry about how your feeling or if you have a huge exam, you will always have another day to do
