Success Factors in Supply Chain Management

Week 3 Assignment

In this paper I will try to explain the SCM at a franchised hospitality property. I list the inventory that we use to complete our services to the guest as well as displaying a graph that will depict the manual way we do our ordering, storing, and delivery of the products we use. Nest will be the returns that are made by a guest which fall into the refundable category

The characteristics that lead to the success in our company is to offer a clean quite room that is comfortable with the items necessary to get ready for the day without having to bring most items from home these items include:
• Comfortable clean place to sleep
• Amenities o TV o Refrigerator o Microwave o Pool o Fitness room o Breakfast o Business needs

In order to create our products/services we have to employ housekeepers to ensure that the rooms are clean and that everything offered is in working order. We have a software system that is updated each day to allow the front desk to confidently send a guest to a room that is ready, functioning and stocked up and ready for use.
There is also a continental breakfast that is offered that guest receive with every stay at the hotel. The breakfast is considered one of the amenities that consist of:
• Eggs o Hard boiled and scrambled
• Meat o Pork
• Cereal o Hot o Cold
• Breads o Sandwich
 White
 Wheat o Bagels
 Plain
 Flavor of the day
• Waffles o Vanilla o Flavor of the day
• Juice o Orange o Strawberry o Apple Make
The supply chain manager has a schedule that depicts what housekeeper cleans each room as well as a manager that checks the rooms for accuracy. They measure the accuracy by using a checklist that measures the quality of the cleanliness and the stock of amenities that are required for each room that we have. They
