Student Aid Reflection
It has been twenty-two years since my failure, and I have matured and learned how to accept responsibilities and not to take great and generous opportunities, like the Federal Student Aid and many others, for granted. I have since been experiencing very difficult challenges in life, especially job security. Just recently, I was fortunate enough to convince the Pohnpei Community Health Center’s board of directors that I would implement and support an Electronic Health Record System to streamline the center’s workflows and to utilize a safe and secure health data repository in order to efficiently and securely cater to the community. The bill I’m proposing would involve using Texas public funding to support two-year colleges and four-year universities through a 10% tax increase program each year called The College Help Tax. College tuition, today is up to $7,000 a semester and continues to raise every year. Through this tax program, it would be of assistance for all Texas residents to use to attend college. There would be no restrictions so every Texas citizen would be able to receive a college degree without the massive price tag.…

Many health care facilities have a hard time keeping up with claims and payments in medical records. Some facilities hire people just to handle these tasks. If not properly monitored, it can cause problems in patients’ accounts. Health care facilities use electronic medical records to improve profitability while reducing the time it takes to submit and receive payment for claims. Many of the facilities purchase software with billing and claims. Some of the advantages of using the EMR system is that they can improve patient care. There is less potential for medical errors as well as improved quality and safety in patient care. Another advantage is that it allows more time to spend with patients Physicians and nurses have more time to spend with patients rather than wasting entirely too much of valuable time searching for, waiting for, and correcting information EMRs create more time for the work we are trained to do. Currently, as healthcare professionals, we spend as much time performing administrative tasks as we do caring for our patients. Some of the disadvantages are the expensive start-up costs and the costs of training that is involved. Another disadvantage is that there are many EMR systems and many facilities may use a different system other than the patient’s primary care facility, and those records may not be available to at the time of the patient’s visit. That statement basically means, no matter where you come from, you have to be willing to put your best foot forward in order to succeed. I can relate to that statement very well because I was born outside of the United States. I understood the struggles that I would have to face while growing up because many doors that are open to everyone else are restricted from me just because I am not a citizen. I have made various contributions and put in a lot of hard work these past 20 years of living here. Even with DACA, I am still unable to apply for Federal Aid but that does not hold me back from reaching a higher education. This is the reason why I work so hard and started to build my credit in order to build a better future for myself. I often…
