Thomas Moran Picture this, a very unhappy family, always fighting, always crying I miss this or I miss that, those parents might have a good job but they will never be happy again in their lives. There are many reasons why we shouldn’t move to Seattle, Washington. The first reason is we will never really see are family again, only on holidays. The second reason is me and my sister will have major things that we miss, that we won’t be able to see again. The last reason is that we will have to sell half of our things because we will be living in the city. This is why we shouldn’t move to Seattle The first reason why I believe that we shouldn’t leave where we are is because we will never really get to see our family again only on major holidays such as Christmas and thanksgiving. If we move it will basically separate me and my grandfather, he is in his 80’s right now and probably does not have much time left on this earth and I want to spend as much time as possible with him and the rest of my grandparents. Also, the family will not be complete without our pets, since you can’t bring pets with you on a plane, you will have to leave them behind and without families. My father’s dog, Lady, can’t live without him and he can’t live without her and they would both be heart-broken if they had to leave each other. Not even mention my sister and her rabbits, Oh my god she can’t go 5 days without seeing them, holding them, and playing with them. Don’t even get me started if I had to get rid of my fish tank.
The next reason why we shouldn’t leave Orange is because we will miss a lot of things that we can’t have in the city. I will have to leave my awesome school and my friends to go back to a place where everyone judges people, makes fun of people, and just plain aren’t nice to you. Do you really want to go through all that drama I had back in middle school. Ah good times… NOT!!!! I can’t ever do what I did in middle school again in a million years. My sister will miss

I hate moving, as im sure we all do. My next task was to find a place to live that was actually worth the work that comes with moving. Somewhere permanent. After searching the newspaper and scrolling the internet day after day, I found it. A two thousand square foot custom built home, in the middle of nowhere, yet still only a 15 minute commute to civilization.…

First of all, there were many reasons I did not want to relocate. For example, I loved the weather in Seattle, and all of my friends were there. One main reason, I did not want to relocate was the school I was attending and the fact that I was so close to finishing high school. I would have liked to have stayed and finished, but my parents decided to relocate. I did not agree with that decision, but my dad’s words changed…

Moving is hard, especially when you go from North Carolina to California. My mom said i’ll be alright so did my brother but now I don't know. I heard great things about Pescadero, California like how few tourist are there, the open beaches and hiking spot. But isn’t that what all apartments say to get you to pack and come running to “The Golden State”. All I can think about is turning back and running to Mama’s arm and crying on my annoying brother Luther’s shoulder.…

I like to travel; experiencing different cultures and customs is always refreshing. I still remember my Europe trip, I tasted foods that I had never experienced, the Eiffel Tower was vivid, and the Leaning Tower of Pisa was majestic. Traveling to a foreign country always excites me. However, moving one's roost to a foreign country is a different story. It felt very frustrating to adapt to the new circumstances. I was no exception. After moving to several other countries, I felt tired and scared of moving. I strongly protested to my parents about moving to America, yet I had no choice but follow them. At that time, I did not know that moving to America would be the most important turning point of my life. The reason that I moved to different…

Moving to northern Wisconsin as a young girl was a scary and confusing time. Having been born in Chicago, all I knew was a big city, the crowds of people, the nonstop traffic and all the noises. My home, it was the only place I knew. How could my parents make a decision like this? How could they make me move to a place I had only visited once before -- but barely remembered? The sadness I felt was so overwhelming during that transition that I told myself that if I ever had a family, I would never make them move. As an adult, many years later, I look back and almost chuckle. My family and I have moved many times, for work or family and even adventure. Now as an adult, I push my children to find adventure in every move…

One day nearly two years ago, I came back from the worst trip and experience ever in my life. Three years ago, my family made the biggest decision of our lifetime together and we had decided to move. Now the fact that we were moving didn’t bother me or my little sister, it was just the simple fact that we were moving from our home that we had grown up in our entire life. The only problem was the fact that we had eventually found out that we were going to move to Oregon. This Alabama home that we grew up in was very special to me and my sister but it wasn’t the one of best of places. We had lived right beside our grandparents and we loved to go up the hill and see them and us moving had rendered that possibility from happening any longer.…

It took me 2 ½ years, a downtown campus, and a writing assignment to come to this conclusion, but at the end of everything, despite the inconvenience I insisted moving caused, these migrations have guided the development of my outlook on life and my broad sense of identity. I learned that endings make room for beginnings, and no matter how I perceive a situation, everything is a learning experience.
