In order to reach my success criteria, I need to make sure everything in my animation works i.e. nothing is faulty. My animation will need to be a dynamic product which can be displayed on the council’s and social networking sites.
Dynamic:
The combinations of animations should be able to create a video advertising Tower Hamlets.
Duration:
The advertisement for Tower Hamlets needs to be between 30 and 90 seconds long.
File Size:
The file needs to be big enough to attract viewers and give them enough information about Tower Hamlets. However, it shouldn’t be too big or it will take too long to load for the viewers to watch on the internet. Every effort should be made to make it easy for viewers to watch the advertisement so they are more willing to watch it. Therefore, the file needs to be compact.
File Type:
The file also needs to be compatible with most devices which is why I will export my flash animation as an SWF file. SWF files can fit to any size screen and maintain their quality because they are vector based.
Software:
I need to use the appropriate software to use techniques and apply sound, animation and images to my product.
Techniques:
In order to make the product successful, a range of advanced techniques will need to be used including: motion-tween, Sound-Synchronising, Resizing, Drawing Tools, Rotation, Frame-by-frame tweens, Layers, rotation and masking.
Promote the history of Tower Hamlets:
The main thing promoted will be historic places of Tower Hamlets to capture the interest of tourists. The dynamic product will be successful if this makes tourists want to visit because of their interest in history.
