For tax on seller it will be a decrease in supply and for tax on buyers then it will decrease the demand.
Therefore, the price increases the supply curve shifts to the left side which shows that there is a decrease in the supply which then reduces the quantity as well. The higher the tax is on the high sugar food products that are sold, the more the decrease will be affected. This is when the taxes are implemented for the sellers.
