During the film Matt Wilcox exemplifies the pressures that a social worker faces while working with the Department of Children and families. He also broke several codes of ethics, which include 3.04 client records, 5.01 integrity of the profession, and 4.04 dishonesty, fraud, and deception. In this case that did not happen. Matt Wilcox lied about going to the hospital to meet with a client, also lied about getting a statement from the client and the time he met with the client. Matt admitted that he never actually met with the client at the hospital, but lied so that he would meet the 24hr requirement that DCF workers have to follow.
