Summary: I Am Monami

I am Monami and I am a Mexican teenager in Texas. I live with my father who is a farmer, my mother and my 4 siblings who work inside the house. Our family is in the middle class. Our farm has animals and valuable crops. Although working in farms are laborious, this made us a much valuable state since our climate is suited for growing valuable crops like cotton. The US affects us because a lot of people settled into a colony and those people buy more crops from us. They affected our nation by buying some of our land but some people are coming in without being a citizen of Texas nor converting to Catholicism which is against the contract and because of that, settlers keeps on filling up the land. Obviously they think it is futile to follow
our promise. Plus, there is an exorbitant amount of people coming in, an estimated 38,000 settlers! I don’t agree with the US expansion because it is hurting our state and the US is unfair for us it is just conductive to them. We tried to coincide with them but, they have the audacity to deny it and be rude. I strongly believe that this state, Texas is ours, we should stop quibbling and fight back those buffoons and win our freedom as well as independence and show them that we are not susceptible also no need to be monopolized by anyone.
