Summary Of Andy's Throw

Intro: Andy and his son, Opie, are shown walking up a dirt road surrounded by big pine trees and a fallen dead tree lying on its side. Each holding a fishing pole in hand they walk side by side while his son skips along the trial and throws a rock into the woods. The signature music plays in the background as the words “THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW” appear on the screen in bright white letters in front of the black and white scenery. As a voice reads the title for everyone to hear.
Narrator: “The Andy Griffith Show, Starring Andy Griffith, with Ronney Howard, also starring, Don Knox.”
The screen goes black and reapers showing the Mayberry Courthouse, with of course the famous song in the background. Then it cuts to the inside of the courthouse with Andy, the sheriff, standing up and holding a book as he begins to speak in front of a Bride and a groom while barney, the deputy, stands alone in the back of the courthouse watches with a happy look on his face.
I now pronounce you man.”
Opie:(Cutting his father off while sitting in the judge's chair behind Andy, and everyone looks sternly at Opie) “I know why they shouldn’t get married”
Andy: “What are you trying to do?”
Opie: “I'm speaking out so i won't have to forever hold my peace.”
Imaginary crowd laughs off the screen.
Barney: (leans into Opie) “You weren't supposed to speak.”
Opie: “Then why did he ask?”
Andy: ”Well it's just part of the ceremony Opie. You always say speak but nobody ever does.”
Opie: ”Well i'm gonna, why did she have to marry him for anyway? Things just going real well. Rose is the best house-keeper we ever had. Taught me everything I know.”
