Summary Of Chasing Francis
The next book, Chasing Francis* speaks about a pastor that loses his faith. I related quite a bit to this story. Although it is a fictional piece of literature, Chasing Francis conveys quite accurately feeling insecure about something that you are supposed to strongly stand for. Chase, the protagonist reveals to his congregation that he no longer believes in God. This causes a ray of panic thus Chase is asked to leave the Church for a while so things can quite down. To get away from things Chase heads to Italy to visit his uncle Kenny. There Chase is introduced to a man named St. Francis* (also mentioned in Compassion) as well as the idea of a pilgrimage.
