Children diagnosed with conduct disorder (CD), oppositional-defiant disorder (ODD) or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) recurrently display attachment hitches. Attachment problems can arise from early child abuse, at rauma and neglect. Research point out that early attachment may have a serious impact on later relationships. For instance, children who are securely attached to childhood end up having high self-esteem, high ability of self-disclose to others and strong romantic relationship ties (Salkind, 2002). However, children who suffer from insecure attachment may experience unhealthy, unhappy and short lasting relationship in their adulthood life
