It made me feel thrilled and delighted that Evie was finally becoming happy with herself, along with slowly losing her OCD. at one point in the novel Evie feels her first sense of control over herself when she is with all of her new friends having fun, “And we clapped and cheered and whistled ourselves and, for the first time ever in my life, I felt strong.” I couldn’t help but smile when I read this because I couldn’t imagine how happy she must have felt in this moment, for me it probably would have felt like everything was finally falling into
