At that moment Riley had a great idea.“Let’s try to train Mrs.Chubbs!” Riley exclaimed. Andi was down with the idea, so they got an American Girl Doll tutu, but she was too fat for it to fit around her waist so they decided to pretend she was a circus cat and put the tutu around her neck. Then they got treats, knowing she wouldn’t do the tricks without a reward in return.“Let’s start out with the easy stuff,” Andi stated, “Sit.” Mrs. Chubbs didn’t do anything. “Um, sit,” Andi said, seeming slightly frustrated. “Maybe she wants to do something harder. She is a smart cat.” Riley suggested, “Let’s try to have her jump through my …show more content…

He was holding her tight staring at them with a nasty glare. “Jake!” Riley roared, “What are you doing?!?” “I’m protecting her,” Jake explained. “From who?” Andi asked, “From you!” Jake squawked. “Jake, if you give us Mrs. Chubbs I’ll give you candy,” Riley said in a sweet voice. “You promise?” He asked, “Yes, I promise,” she said as Jake handed over Mrs. Chubbs, “Here ya’ go!” Riley shouted tossing him three Skittles from earlier and running up the steps."We finally have you back Mrs. Chubbs," Riley sighed with relief. "Time for your hoop trick!" Andi exclaimed as she put the treat on the opposite side of the hoop. Miraculously at that moment, Mrs. Chubbs jumped through the hoop! "She did it!" the girls giggled. She did it four more times before laying down and beginning to purr."Uhhh.. Mrs. Chubbs?" Riley said concerned, "Meow!" Mrs. Chubbs squealed. "Roll over!" Andi yelled just as Mrs. Chubbs jumped off the bed and ran down the stairs."Well, so much for that idea," Andi groaned. At that moment Riley had a great idea..."Hey! Let's try to train my dog,

“Ugh!”, he grunts from how large the suitcase is. “Will you be able to carry that, Scottie?” she says, her face, worn from time, twists with concern for her son. “Of course”, he laughs. “Okay, if you’re sure.” She says as she opens the metal gate to the front yard. They slowly walk through the cracked pathway until they reach the steps to the porch. Beatrice opens the sturdy door with her keys. “Honey, I’m home!” Scottie yells into the empty living room. “Must you do that every time you come inside the house?” She says fondly. “Of course, I must.” He says as if she should already have known the answer. While they were talking, Alice and Jake, Scottie’s younger siblings, heard his announcement and excitedly ran out of their room and down the beige stairs. “Stop making all that racket!” she admonishes her children. “SCOTTIE!” they yell out enthusiastically. “You’re home!” Alice states, full of wonder that her big older brother is finally back where he belongs. “Well, it’s obvious that I’m home unless I’m an imposer who’s secretly an alien”, He jokes, winking at Alice. “I definitely didn’t miss your humor,” Jake lightheartedly says. “Oh, come on, I tell the best jokes”, Scottie says smiling. “Yeah right, in your dreams”, Jake jokingly teases. “Leave your brother alone for right now. He had a long trip and he’s probably exhausted.” Beatrice gently tells to her…

She knew that there was the no couch rule, but Mark never really enforced it, so Chica would find always find herself comfortable on the couch. She was completely unaware of the puffs of fur she would leave behind everywhere she walked. Lucky for Chica, she was the cutest pup in the whole world so she and her fur could lay anywhere she wanted. I mindlessly rubbed her head as I took a sip of my tea and looked through the window into the backyard. The beautiful mountains of Los Angeles within view. I breathed out a sigh of happiness. The world was quiet and calm. A loud scream pierced the air, breaking the peace and quiet I was enjoying. Chica lifted her head and began to wag her tail, she knew that was her beloved owner screaming at some game.…
