When the United States first started a war against them it was to gain vengeance for 9/11. Modern warfare is too destructive to be used for freedom. The side effects of modern war are to great. In this day and age people should be able to communicate without explosives and bullets. There are many other ways to resolve issues than to kill directly and indirectly millions of people every year. Much research has been conducted and all of it points the same way. People die when you fight in wars whether it is the soldiers on the battlefields, the refugees fleeing from countries, the innocent caught in the crossfire, or even the destruction veterans do when they return home from war. The use of logos, ethos, and pathos are used everyday in the fight off of the battlefield and even on it sometimes. Each side is trying to persuade each other to their side and war is just another fallacy to them. A very deadly and costly fallacy to say the least. With this information people can choose what they think on the issue. This will also help them know what to look out for when they hopefully do their own research on to this. Everyone can make a difference it is just what you choose to do to make that difference. Considering the amount of people displaced from their homes during war, the amount of people who die fighting in wars, and what the soldiers take home with them after the war, it makes people wonder if fighting for freedom is truly fighting for freedom or is it creating a bigger
