People should see suffering and feel pain for the person in a time of need; and want to help. The Holocaust was just proof of that. The world felt pain, and came together to help, and those who did not would come to realize how Horrendous The Holocaust was. Our society will never fall to something as truly evil as The Holocaust.
As awful as it is, we must never forget. Forgetting those who lost their lives, gives a chance for new evil to take root. It taught us that we do not have to love everyone, but we are all humans with emotions who deserve respect from an equal: we are all equivalent. That can never be forgotten; and to never forget, we must all treat each other with that respect that not one person is above another.
We must never let our Foundations crumble, and our streets get painted red. The Holocaust survivors must live with the horror and true evil, that spread around the camps, that should never be allowed again. Turning the other check is not, nor will ever be “okay” .
