Summary: The Not So Good Brother
The Not So Good Brother

When you have a little brother, it can be easy to take advantage of him, especially when your brother is crippled. Brother was a bad brother for reasons, and the reasons he was a good brother doesn’t cancel out the bad reasons. Brother was a good brother for teaching Doodle movements like walking and swimming, but also a bad brother for pushing him too hard and taking advantage of him. Brother was a good brother because he was teaching Doodle some movement lessons like walking, and running. In this story, Brother was a good brother because he teaches him to walk, run, swim, fight and climb trees. This way Doodle learns the basic movements of life. “I’m going to teach you to walk, Doodle” (Hurst 2). Brother teaches
