Almost any superhero can fall into this category but more specifically the heroes who have sad, tragic stories. To start, Peter Parker was an average New Yorker until he got bitten by a radioactive spider. Parker didn’t truly become the Spiderman until his Uncle was brutally murdered and he decided to use his powers for good and revenge. Comparably Batman witnessed his parents get slaughtered when he was a young boy. Batman is the most relatable superhero to comic fans because he was not born with his powers, he just inherited a large sum of money. He used the money, technology, and plenty of training to become the Dark Knight. And finally, one of the most underrated leaders was born an average human but had a fatal accident. Daredevil was splashed with some radioactive waste as a young boy which made him lose his eyesight but gain a miraculous skill. The young boy could use sonar to ‘see’.
