When this information shows up in the documentary, a logo with the letters CDC emerge as an acronym for the company Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which is in fact the leading national public health institute in the United States. Obviously, CDC is responsible for the data. Furthermore, this hints that information earlier and later in the movie is probably statistics contributed by CDC. It is clear that in this movie that Spurlock has chosen to only present reliable statistics that support his argument and completely leave out McDonalds’ perspective so the majority of the audience shares his opinion.
