Superstition is the fear of what is unknown and mysterious. It is the belief that certain events bring good or bad luck which cannot be explained by reason or science. In short, superstition means blind belief. Superstition is a worldwide phenomenon. People in every country believe in one or the other superstition as I believe in superstition too.
First, when shoes rank on top of each other, means that the owner of these shoes will travel soon somewhere. As the fact, my uncle came to visit me to my home last month so when he took off his shoes, they rank on top of each other. I asked him “Are you traveling somewhere soon? He replied no, however, after a few days he had to travel to Jordan for medical treatment.
Second, when you scratch your left hand, means you will earn money. One day I was scratching my left hand as my brother was looking at me and said, Shayma, you will earn money soon and as I believe in superstition, I got so happy. After one week, I was invited to a birthday party in one of my friends’ home. They had a game to play and the winner will get $1000 as a prize guess what I won.
Third and finally, when the right eyelashes uncontrollably blink a lot, means that something bad might happened. About 4 years ago my right Eyelashes uncontrollably blinked a lot so I got scared that something bad will happen as I hoped not, unfortunately, it happened because my sister’s first baby had died two days after.
In conclusion, because all of the above happened to me, I believe in superstition.
