1.0 Summary
In the last few decades, limited resources of the world put pressure on societies. Consequently, the concept of the sustainability has become widespread in the business world in order to meet the demand of the society. Under the name of the Corporate Social Responsibility, companies run sustainability activities for staying competitive in their industries in the recent years. Nevertheless, besides commercial concerns, the ethical aspect of the sustainability requires an organizational sense for the implementation.
As a result of these facts, sustainability has also become a popular change management challenge for companies since it requires an organizational change. Conscience dimension of the sustainability also generates extra challenges for choosing the accurate change management approach for driving the change. The mental change of individuals plays a crucial role for adapting the sustainability to the organizational culture. During the different stages of the change process, the combination of the individual, the group and the organization approaches can be applied in order to build up a dynamic organizational sustainability culture.
