Synopsis Of The Movie 'American Sniper'
Clint Eastwood makes American sniper the number seven on my top favorite movies. I think the story of Chris Kyle is the most powerful U.S military story I ever read and seen. This movie's about a Texas man who always dreamed of becoming a cowboy and got bored and wanted to join the fight against terrorism. He goes to Iraq and saves US lives with his dangerous accuracy. I think this movie was one of the best military movies ever watch. This movie made me think of All the vets and people in our army defend us every single day. I think the way that the director shut this movie was great. When Chris Kyle had his mark on the little kind with the RPG,ci think the director wanted us the feel the same suspense that he did. He put is in the scope with …show more content…
Eastwood makes shows us how a sniper in the american armed force would engage in such stressful situation with low light. I like how Clint Eastwood used his classic westerns to direct us into suspense. I think the plot was amazing because of the slow introduction of Chris at the beginning. I like that Cooper played the part because I think it was one of his best performances of his career. The believability of the movie is 100% because of coopers hulky body and prep for this movie. The way cooper acted in the tough and life decisions that a sniper would make is simply breathtaking. I give props to the person that made the CGI on this film for the part when copper shoots that terrorist sniper from 2 miles away. I thought it was cool to see the bullet go through the air and go into his head.

1.I believe what makes this film so great is the plot of the film combined with the actors ability to give life to the story. Gary Cooper who plays Kane in the film, is an upstanding and ethically good man. Since he demonstrates these characteristics in the film, he makes a believable Marshall. Another reason why this film is so great, is because of the hero premise. I believe this causes the "unsung hero" to resonate with the audience's feelings. This is shown at the very end of the film after the Marshall had confronted the criminals. Even though Kane had stopped Miller, no one in the town cheers or celebrates. They kinda of just accept it as it is and just move on without giving their thanks to the Marshall.…

In Undying Glory I like how the 54th regiment never gave up for fighting for freedom. I like how Colonel Shaw never gave up on the regiment he was commanding after they had fail the President. I disliked how Colonel Montgomery shot one of the soldiers and wanted to throw him off the ship and i dislike that Colonel Montgomery because he had no respect for the 54th regiment. Like how it shows you pictures of what of men who fought and memorials of the 54th regiment. I disliked that people treated the 54th regiment like if they didn’t have those uniforms on.…

Lyman states it has: “sumptuous visuals and state-of-the-art sound”(Lyman par 1). This shows that even for 1998, the graphics and special effects are way ahead of its time and are almost like a time capsule back to WW2 when it actually happened. Another critic agrees, stating: Though the experience it recounts is grueling, the viscerally enthralling “Saving Private Ryan” is anything but” (Maslin par 3). This shows that Maslin thinks it’s very gory, but is very worth watching and has phenomenal graphics. These statements make it obvious that it has very nice graphics and special effects; and that it has great illustrations of some of the actual battle scenes that happened in…

The book American Sniper is written by Chris Kyle that is a captivating, thrilling, and very dramatic autobiography that follows his life as he turns from a bustin’ broncos cowboy into the deadliest sniper in U.S. history with over 160 confirmed kills. Chris was born in Odessa, Texas on April 8, 1984 and was truly the definition of a patriot. He loved the country he grew up in and that motivated him to enlist as a Navy Seal in 1999. When reading his book it was brought to my attention just how much soldier's sacrifice when going off to war. The stakes really are higher than just their individual life, for almost all of them have people who are relying on them back home, because not only is their duty to their country but also to their families.…

I’ve always looked for a meaning or purpose that could connect with my life, but how can a 17 year old boy decipher and discover such a thing on his own? A possibility can be found through ways of expressing passion to the public. Such as movies, songs, poems, or even a piece of art. And even though I have seen or found some type of message in all these, I’ve found a special one with a film by the name of The American Sniper. This is a film about a U.S Navy Seal Officer by the name of Chris Kyle that was during the fight on terrorism. The things I can take from this film that lets it connect so well with my life is a certain scene about a saying of a sheep dog, and the similarities I can see with the protagonist and my father. Ideas and…

With it’s dramatic tone and realism. The structure of the movie was started by the end but then flashback to the beginning, which plays out in a linear matter and then leads back to the end of how the movie started and it all ties in together. The movie aspires you to feel exactly how these four navy seals felt and their struggle to stay alive, showing us how brave these man our and how they go through hell and back. It definitely succeeds, it made me cringe watching them get brutally hurt and you even get attached to the characters hoping for them that it turns out okay for them. The emotional reactions are sadness by everything they are going through, and hope, hoping they make it out alive and safe, relief for when they finally have help and a bunch of emotions at the same time. An element that probably was slight unsuccessful was that I read how the Taliban man were portrayed kind of cartoon villain liked which can be an insult, in my opinion I didn’t see it that way, but from another point of view it did seem to like cartoon villain. This film is very successful with how everything was shot and edit, I see why it took six months to edit this movie. I read in an article that Berg shot with 3 different cameras at the same time so there’s a lot of coverage. His first cut was two-and-a-half hours and the final length came in at two hours. Lone survivor really grasps how these Navy Seals or in fact anybody in the military forces really sacrifice their lives to fight for our…

In this film there was a recognizable actor, Nicolas Cage. Although I am not the biggest fan of him it was nice to have someone you recognized in the film. I also enjoyed that Christopher Plumber was in the film. I found Nicolas Cage’s acting in this movie to be very cheesy and he didn’t make me like the character he was playing. I really enjoyed the scenery and the costumes in the movie; I thought they were well done considering they were on a small budget. I did notice that one shot of Nicolas Cage rowing was used more then once. I found this movie to be boring and Nicolas Cage’s acting bothered me so it was my least favorite out of the three…
