Tall Man Monologue

as i make my way back home, i sigh, taking in my surroundings. the chilly winter air hits my arms briskly, the leafs slowly blowing away from the trees. i don't understand why people would ignore that kind of stuff. it's a beautiful thing.

the song "headfirst slide into coopertown on a bad bet" from fall out boy comes on, and i smile slightly. i near my neighbourhood, then all i hear is a scream, followed by a jolt of a stop to my car.

i panic, and run outside, to see what happened, to see a tall man, about 6'3, with dark black hair, and blue highlights. he has a piercing on his lip, black skinny jeans, and an emo af my chemical romance tee on. his eyes are closed, and there's blood on his forehead, jeans. however, despite that, i find

good timing i see.

i snort, but then quickly go to the man in front of me, realizing i'm no help right now. i check for a pulse, and feel his heartbeat still pumping, and i examine him a bit more. he has a nice chest.

i attempt to pick him up, and somehow do, i don't know how though, since i literally have zero upper body strength. but, i slightly rejoice due to the fact that if i couldn't i would be screwed as fuck.

i place him in the passenger seat, and make my- well now our- way to the A&E.

my chemical romance hums in the background softly, but definitely not peacefully, since, well, if gerard is screaming, "I WANNA SEE WHAT YOUR INSIDES LOOK LIKE, I BET YOURE NOT FUCKING PRETTY ON THE INSIDE" so, yeah. not as chill as it would seem.

15 minutes pass, and i pull into the A&E, sadly, the ebony haired man still passed out. i sigh, and get out of the car, taking the aux cord out of my car, and plugging in headphones to keep listening to my emo shit, and go to the passenger seat to carry this heavy man to the hospital, thanking God for automatic doors. i grab one of the wheel chairs and set him down onto is, pulling up unto the front

The Minie ball greatly influenced the Civil War, causing many people to die, and changes in many other areas. Like all the wars before it, during the Civil War many large technological breakthroughs occurred. One of the biggest, and most influential changes for personal weapons was the evolution from the smoothbore muskets to rifles, and even more so, the Minie ball that allowed the rifling to realistically be used in a battle situation. The bullets also had another plus: causing huge damage to anyone they hit. Blood and screams were heard all around the battlefield from the Minie ball tearing through flesh and shattering bone.…

“Charlie, Charlie! We need you over here now, hurry up!” Yelled Madison. “Oh crap sorry, I’m coming.” I replied. I didn’t want to get up but I needed to help him, I needed to prove myself. He lay upon the stretcher still as a calm night, so peaceful yet so loud. I look at him and pray that he fights this and that he will be ok because for some reason I feel guilt, a huge pile of guilt on my shoulders. I stood back just because of a comment that I should be used to by now. His pain is all on me. I should have helped him sooner and maybe his chances at living would be higher, if…

It's most definitely dead, as its forehead is ripped apart from the bullet and scarlet red blood is splattered all over the car. "Oh God..." I cry, leaning back out of the car and ripping my jumper off my mouth and nose. I lean beside the car and vomit, unable to hold back the few blackberries I had picked along the highway. It was too much.…

A black van pulls up next to you and the driver rolls down the window and he asks where your parents are. You are scared. You don’t know this man. His car is old and beat-up. Scout growls.
