When starting up your own business you need to think of the benefits and risks of you starting up your business. One benefit of you starting up your own business is that you can manage your work time better to suit your personal life because when you work for someone you normally work 9-5 and you would have to plan your personal life after 5 but if you have your own business you would be working for yourself so no one can tell you when to work, you choose when to want to work this also means that you can choose when you take time off work and you have more freedom around your work and personal life.

Once you are a self employed person with your own business you are eligible to claim back expenses so if you have to buy a travel card or travel by car you can claim back mileage from the car and for your travel card you can claim back the money you used to buy the travel card. You can create your own working environment as a self employed work because you could be working at a different place everyday especially if you are a personal fitness trainer then you would be working at different customers houses as in a normal job you stay in the same place every day.

Another benefit of you starting up your own business is that you have no limit as a self employed person; you are not limited to how much you earn. As it’s your business no one can give you a fixed hourly wage rate you can earn how much you want to earn in an hour because you are the boss so the profit that you make goes straight to you but if your business does not make money then there is no point of keeping the business running because if you’re making no money how are you going to be paying for tax or if you rent out a space for your business how you going to pay for rent and all your

Based on the information provided by Power Tool Company it is recommended that the company consider using a Keirtetsu Network as there supply chain strategy. While there are other supply chain strategies available the Keiretsu Network provides many of the desired components which will allow Power Tool Company A to achieve there desired goals while utilizing there current resources. Joint Ventures are not recommended for Power Tool Company because although companies can benefit from shared resources there is a risk that this type of partnership can dilute a company brand or unintentionally cause a company to lose its market share or competitive advantage to its partner. Virtual companies are another strategy but is not recommended for Power Tool Company. The reason this option is not recommended is because with Virtual Companies a large amount of suppliers is used. "a business organization in which you, as the sole proprietor, are in sole control of the management and the profits." (Kubasek 771). This is perhaps the most common type of business. Some of the advantages are: The sole proprietor has complete control of the business. It is very convenient since it doesn’t require too many formalities. The sole proprietor keeps all the profits of the business. No corporate tax payment. As everything in life, sole proprietorships has its disadvantages. Let’s touch on a few of them. A sole proprietor is personally liable for incidents, debts or obligations occurred in its business, even if they are caused by employees. Hard to find investors. Large start-up costs, because the money comes from personal accounts or loans. This is the preferred starting point for many business owners, this could be due to the tax break that it offers, and the free will to make decisions as pleased without having to consult with any partners. At my current financial status if I were to open a business it would probably be this entitie, since it requires no formalities and you keep all the profits, plus like I said, that tax break could really…

I’ve never really put much though into the idea of owning my own small business. Although I have tremendous respect for the entrepreneurs that take that risk. Everyday at my job I work with small business owners and my mother even owns a small professional dog grooming business. They work very hard to keep their businesses afloat in tough economic times like these. Owning your own business might be rewarding but it is by no means easy especially when you are just starting out. That is why I will hopefully run my own small business but perhaps only when I retire or if I leave the workplace to have children later in life. My business has a low profit margin, and it would be extremely difficult to survive solely off my businesses income.…
