People all over the world and especially in America are dying from the food that they eat, simply because they were not well educated about the importance of healthy food. As of now every 18 minutes four Americans will lose their lives from health problems related to bad diet and obesity. Heart disease, cancer, stroke, and diabetes are topping the charts for causes of death in the United States while people are worried about homicide and murder which doesn’t even come close to the rates of those mentioned health problems. All of the children born into this generation from the adults of the last four generations will live ten years less than their parents due to the food the parents have provided them. So we need to make a big change about the food we are eating and feeding our children who do not know any better and save what is left of our generation and the next and so forth so that we do not have to lose people to such a preventable disease by making a revolution in educating people about healthy food.
James Trevor “Jamie” Oliver was born on May 27th 1975 and brought up in Clavering, Essex, England. He is a famous English chef with many successful credentials from cookbooks, cooking television shows, restaurateur, and his most recent campaign against processed foods served in schools and educating people about healthy alternatives. His idea is to start a food revolution by getting people to start eating healthy again.

He spent seven years in the United States before he received the 2010 TED Prize in December of 2009 working really hard to put his ideas into action. He had many successful results through many of his different charities and campaigns that truly made big changes and brought
