Team Assignment 1 Determining Team Roles
Team Assignment 1: Determining Team Roles

Requirements:
1. As a team, you must determine team roles for all members of your team for all 4 weeks – Weeks 2, 3, 5, and 6.
2. Each team member must have the opportunity to be the leader in at least one of the Team Assignments. Each member must also have the experience of taking on other roles in the Team assignment weeks. Team roles must be delineated for leader, motivator, facilitator, communicator roles, etc.
3. In order to ensure accountability by all team members, and as learned in COLL148, the team must clearly state the team’s expectations of each member and the consequences if team deadlines and expectations are not met by a member.
4. Every student must understand the responsibilities of different team member roles, such as leader, motivator, communicator, facilitator, etc… as suggested below.

Just as a suggestion, here are some of the most common roles in a team.
Leader—focuses on in-class tasks and team product and delegation of responsibilities for tasks and assumes a leadership role in the team, based on all we learn in this class.
Facilitator—focuses on effective group process and the decision-making process for tasks.
Motivator—helps team stay on task, stay determined and interested, and meet time constraints.
Communicator—gets team assignments posted properly, communicates with team members, and for face-to-face teams, arranges out-of-class meetings; for online teams, arranges chat sessions.
Recorder—responsible for keeping track of team performance and ensuring that the deliverable is of the expected quality.
Time Keeper—is the person responsible for keeping the team informed about how time is passing.

Suggestions:
Your team has to make the most appropriate decision about how to share work and get the assignments done. You may start with the first team member by alphabetical order of last names, and go down the alphabet Team Assignment after Team Assignment.
If a team has fewer than four
