Technology. a Blessing or a Curse?
After the second Industrial Revolution, many new form of technology emerged and gave influence on people's lifestyles. But does technology always benefit us or can it have some negative effects? Ofcourse, this topic has two diferrent point of views, so it will have supporters and opponents.

Supporters:
For the supporters, technology is a good thing. Many of the discoveries made throught time were mainly because of the use of new inventions because technology keeps growing and growing. Also things like the internet also affects our lives. For instance, you have a friend who is miles away. Before you used to writes letters (some people still do), but nowadays you could just call them or talk to them of Facebook. Or you could get on a plane and go visit them. There are also more examples of ways of technology like: medicine, tools, transportation, etc.

Opponents:
On the other hand, opponents think that technology just causes even more problem to the societies. They say that technology is not used to solve problems but to create one. Lets take weapons and nuclear bomb as an example. Nuclear bombs and guns are used to kill. Even if you did survive a bomb attack, you would still infected with the gases, and cause mutations.

I would say that technology is neither a curse or a blessing, but both. Sometimes its good for some things and at other times its not. We can't really blame the object, because its doing what its programed to do. People should blame the ones who invented it. Also every good inventions such as a car, or a plane or even medicine can turn against you and kill you.

What do you think? is it a blessing or a

Technology has shaped and defined human activity and it has made life easier but more dangerous. As Langdon Winner explains in his piece, Technological Somnambulism, technology is a neutral tool. It can be used in a positive or a negative way. As well, Modern technology can be dangerous in many different ways. As more technology becomes available to the public, more people rely on it. This could be a problem; for example when many people want to figure something out, they will probably just type the question into Google. Technology allows us to think less about certain things, which may be easier but it “dumbs us down”. This could be considered dangerous because we may rely on technology too much and we could become lazy with our everyday rituals. With that said, technology has also helped us improve medicine and science to help cure certain diseases. Without these improvements we wouldn’t be as strong as a community. There seems to always be positive and negative things that come with technology.…

Many believe that change in technology is a hindrance, causing more problems than solutions. I believe technology has created a safer environment, revolutionized the way we look at different ideas, and resolved many economic problems in industries!
