Ted Bundy: A Life Of A Serial Killer

Constructed directly from the insight of nightmares, both captivating and horrific. Serial killers disguise themselves behind uninteresting and normal circumstances. Oftentimes they are able to avoid being caught for years, decades and sometimes an eternity. Even when serial killers do get caught, we may not recognize what they are because they don’t match the twisted conception that we have of serial killers. What is that conception? Killers live among everyday life, they are the ones who creep into someone’s life unknowingly to torture and kill them.

Theodore Robert Bundy AKA Ted, was a kidnapper, serial killer, burglar, rapist and necrophile who only target women and girls in the 1970’s. He was one of the worst serial killers in history. Ultimately at the end of the day Ted left behind a trail of mass murders that included the deaths of 36 young women that ranged through four states. The biggest question in many people’s mind was how could someone as knowledgeable, highly gifted, and praised as Bundy do such a thing?
His mother was Eleanor Louise Cowell and his father had taken off when he first discovered Eleanor was pregnant. In 1946, faced with limited options, she delivered him in an "unwed mother" facility. As years went by and Ted grew up, she informed him that her parents were his parents and that she was his sister. It wasn't until 1974 when he discover that his mother had misled him for so many years. He grew to be a handsome, educated and intelligent man who appeared to be well-adjusted and affable.
