The key difference is that people who are to connect with others are ones who accept themselves and their flaws. She brings forward the idea that to be able to connect, one must fix themselves. I would argue that the problem is not an internal issue, but rather our external world. We are living in a world and society where we are forced from birth to accept certain standards, false ideologies and false images of what we are suppose to be. Society is not creating individuals, but rather society is "designing" individuals, removing a persons ability to be true to who they are.
