In "Everything You Need To Know About Writing Successfully — In Ten Minutes," Stephen King describes all the process of how to write a good paper and a great essay. Stephen was born in Portland in 1947, and he started to write stories since he was a child. The boundary of his interest about writing began when he found a box of horror and science fiction novels in his aunt's house. Since this event, he has had writing many novels, series, short stories, novellas, and screenplays that were the first steps to his success. Firstly, he began telling us a story about how he had learned to write, saying that everything started when he was a sophomore in college, and he wrote a publication that ridiculed some teachers. At this day, he has
forced to make some apologies to his professors and spent a entire week in detention as a punishment for his words. However, he began to work writing about sports for Lisbon Enterprise, and the editor, named John Gould, was the man who taught him everything he had to know to write in ten minutes. Stephen sent to Mr. Gould a paper with all the information about a basketball game's end result; and Mr. Gould just made a few corrections and taught him that he was an amazing writer who have to do this for living. Secondly, also in his second introduction, King advices the reader to focus on what he or she enjoys to write, novels for example, so the reader has to buy magazines which describes the novels at the most and read it frequently. Finally, the writer explains step by step how is the best way to write successfully, when he defines the major 12 steps, such as the first one "be talented," the second "be neat," the third "be self-critical," and so on.
