Recommended Texts:
The course readings will consist primarily of research articles and other readings that are available in electronic format (These are either directly available via normal library search or will be provided directly from the instructor).
Several readings, however, will come from a single text:

Since this text is available electronically, it has NOT been ordered at any of the university textbook stores. Instead, it can be obtained from the following website via three different methods:
http://www.nap.edu/catalog/5237.html
Methods: 1. A Hardcopy of the book can be purchased. (cost $49.00) 2. A PDF file-copy of the book can be downloaded. (cost FREE!) 3. A copy of the book can be read online. (cost FREE!)
(*note that page images from the online book can be printed one-at-a-time.)
If any student is unable to obtain the readings from this text via the three methods listed above, they should see the instructor for special arrangements to acquire the readings.
