This is about my cousin on my mother side named Rose Frances Pablo. She’s 5 years older than me. I can say that we really get along together, maybe it’s because we often visit them either on vacation or Christmas break. We also went together on my mother’s province before. Since I only have one more year before I go into college, I asked her what courses could be suitable for me and what school. She told me that I should choose the course that I really want and think about my strengths. She also said that I should have 2nd choice of course because some school would ask what would be my other choice of course. She also said that she took entrance exam in 4 schools. And those schools are Philippine Normal University, De La Salle University – Manila, University of Santo Tomas, and University of the Philippines. She almost passed in the exam in UP. Someone said that they could still work on it but they didn’t know and she doesn’t want to study there. She passed her second choice of course in UST but she really wants to take Psychology that’s why she considered applying or going to DLSU because she passed the exam there, even in PNU. The entrance exam in DLSU includes an essay in English and Filipino and it has to be 200 words or above. While the entrance exam in PNU is quite easy because there’s no Math. But because of some problem, she wasn’t able to reserve in DLSU because she needs to reserve for her position and the reservation fee is 5,000 pesos. That’s why she just went to PNU but according to her, she really doesn’t want to study there because she doesn’t want to end up teaching children because that’s not what she likes. She really wants to take Medicine but she thinks that it’ll take many years, so she just chose a course that is in line with Medicine and that is Psychology. She only stayed in PNU for one year and after that, she transferred to another school. She transferred in St. Scholastica’s College – Manila. And now she’s in her 2nd year. She should be

Bartolomé De Las Casas utilizes the doctrine of the Just War Theory as a means to support his thesis by proving that the violence incited against the Indians during colonization is not justified because it violates divine authority, perpetuates evil by hurting the innocent and the weak on no account of any fault, and is completely unnecessary in the process of converting people to Christianity. First, he writes that the wars waged against the Indians violates the Just War Theory because it violates divine authority. In the first clause of the Just War Theory, it is stated that the authority of the ruler by whose command the war is to be waged is necessary for the justification of war. Bartolomé De Las Casas essentially says that the people in power, the ones who commanded the war to be waged against the Indians, do not have any authority to do so because it violates the very scripture of the Bible. He cites words from Christ himself to show that it is wrong to hurt the innocent and the weak. This leads to his second claim about the wars, which is that the violence is perpetuating evil because the Indians have no fault committed on their part against the Christians. Bartolomé De Las Casas states that by massacring innocent and defenseless people, and by separating and depriving people of their family members, the second and third clause of the Just War Theory is violated, not only because the attacked are not at fault, but also because the belligerent Christians do not have any rightful intention and commit actions counterproductive to spreading Christianity or God’s word. His final claim dealt with the flawed justification for the war, which is the idea that a prerequisite to spreading Christianity to non-believers is violent oppression of those people. Bartolomé De Las Casas asserted that violence was completely unnecessary, because the Indians were gentle and…

In the communication episode that occurred between my mother and I, in the family kitchen, when deciding which university I would attend started with me asking, in a very nerves voice, my mother while speaking in our native language if she had any knowledge of the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in Port Elizabeth which offered the course I was interested in taking, Bachelor of Arts in media, communication and culture. My mother responded with a smile and said she did not, as I presented my argument about why NMMU was the best choice my mother nodded her head and smile at varies points she seemed to agree with. The encounter ended with my mother agreeing to consider NMMU and that she would inform me of her decision at a later date.…

In “The Processing Plant,” Pollan attempts to track down what happens to the corn that is not sent to the feedlot. Much of it ends up in processing plants. Pollan distinguishes between a traditional mill, which grinds corn into flour to produce tortillas, and wet mills, which rely on a great deal of water, energy derived from fossil fuels, and steel tanks. These wet mills are like an artificial digestive system that breaks corn down into its molecular parts so it can be used to produce, among many other things, high-fructose corn syrup. Pollan explains that once corn is broken down…

I recently conducted a statistical study to figure out how an admissions officer can determine which students are most successful in their school. The problem that most colleges face is admitting students who don’t do well. By doing this, it just leads to complications like the student failing in class and not getting a job after they graduate. Because of this, we need to determine which students are most successful at the University of West Erlham County.…

    1. Identify Needs - Identifying needs of your students is targeting individuals on the course who may struggle or have a disability for e.g. dyslexia. The reason why you do this is so you can take that extra little bit of time out to help that person or to have someone assist them like an agency who can help them on that course. You also need to identify the background you are going to be working in whether it is private firm, community, college or institution. This helps you target what you will need for that course.…
