To start off, Roger learns to think before he does things due to the consequences of his actions. In this story he was trying to steal a woman's purse. His consequence was getting kicked in the stomach for trying to steal this purse. Another consequence was while he was trying to run away with her purse he fell to the ground, because he was too weak and skinny making him drop the purse. After she helped him up he took the time to listen to what she wanted to teach him about life and the right path to follow. Roger took the time to listens to the woman teaching him life lessons because if he did not listen she could of landed him in big trouble for his choice to steal her purse. Another example is how she acted with kindness. Whatever she did knocked some sense into Roger, because if she didn’t act with kindness she might of had him put in jail.
