Julius was born to an aristocratic family in Rome. His father die at age 16 leaving behind him, his sisters, and mother. By 18 JUlius had married a girl named Cornelia and fathered a daughter named Julia, until the dictator Sulla forced them to divorce or face execution. To avoid further presecution Julius fled Rome. Years later while sailing the Aegean Sea he was apprehended by pirates. After being freed he later fufilled a promise he made and executed them all.
Julius later married off daughter Julia to Pompey, allowing him to create the First Triumvirate alongside Crassus and Pompey. Julius spent the next few years rising to power, becoming more infulencial and popular. While Julius was away fighting and conquering for the Roman Empire, his daughter and Crassus died leaving only him and Pompey, breaking the Triumvirate causing a civil war. With the help of Mark Anthony Pompey was found and killed in Egypt allowing Casear to become dictator with Cleopatra has his wife.
Casear and Cleopatra's affairlasted for fourteen years and in those years they had a son named Caesarion. Cleopatra and Caesar were never allowed to marry since Roman law forbad the marriage of Romans to marry those without Roman citizenship.
Before his death Caeasr declared his grandnephew, Octavian, heir to the empire in favor of his longstanding friends Markus Brutus. Brutus later helped conspire against Julius and help in his assassination. Julius was feared by the Senate and was considering the disbandment of the Senate as a whole in favor of a complete dictatorship. On March fifteenth, 44 BC the Roman sentae meet with Julius for what he believed to be a meeting, but instead was killed by 23 stab wounds. News of Julius' death was met with an angered public mad at the upper class senators. Julius' death left the Roman Empire to be run by 18 year old Octavian.
