the Advantages of PPSMI
We always dream about creating a breed of Malaysian Scientist and Mathematicians one day soon in Malaysia. Have you ever dreamt to stay in the developed country? One country can be developed by changing their lifestyle to modern one like learn some subjects in English. English is the International language that always use in the new technology world nowadays. Can you imagine if we left behind and live in the retrogression situation if we don’t apply English in Mathematics and Science subject? Ministry of Education should continue with the learning of Science and Mathematics in English. Malaysian need to continue with the learning of Science and Mathematics in English because Malaysian need high education to improve their knowledge, to stand together with the other developed countries and Malaysian students need to continue learning Science and Mathematics in English because it is a dominant language of the developed countries. Finally, based on these three advantages, its can make Malaysian people have a better life.

Malaysian need high education to improve their knowledge. According to Noor Azimah, the Ministry of Education (MOE) not force the students to change their mother tongue in English but the MOE just want the student understand Science and Mathematics in English. The policy decision to implement PPSMI was made to ensure students mastery in Science and Mathematics in view of the fact that most the source are available in the English language. Also hoped that the implementation of PPSMI would contribute to the enhancing of students command of the language. According to Wang (2011), the advantages of learning Science and Mathematics in English can help the students to access the technology. Example that students use for PPSMI as a technology in MyCD or “Pupils CD-ROM” “BLA” in the form of multimedia presentations recorded in compact disc and included with every activity book.
