Doscher does this throughout the entire book, informing the reader on the topics at hand. In each chapter, the author takes a concept, introduces it to the reader through simple explanations, then proceeds to to get down to the details. What I love about the book is how in depth he goes. Sometimes he even goes to what I might consider too in-depth. For instance, in the chapter “The Arm/Leg Connection”, Doscher goes as far as suggesting how the runner should hold the wrist, and what to do with the fingers. Don’t get me wrong though, this is definitely not a bad thing. This provides layers upon which an athlete can improve, starting with the basics until eventually reaching the nitty-gritty topics that may only minutely improve performance. The depth of this novel also is one thing that sets it apart from many other sprinting books, as others often stay away from the sometimes bold claims that this book suggests. Others prove to lack the detail that this book brings to the table, making this the superior choice to someone interested in learning the utmost
