It was a scorching, radiant, fall day on September 10th when Tiffany and her teammates were at soccer practice. There were two goals, one on each side of the school’s 100 foot long and 60-foot wide soccer field. The school was to the left, a few hundred feet away, and a cramped shed was to the right. The wind was at her back as the starting forward, Tiffany, was swiftly dribbling on a breakaway to the other team’s goal, her long brown hair blowing behind her and her long legs were moving as fast as they could. Her arms were pumping hard when she was about ready to shoot the ball. All of the sudden, blonde hair came flying right past her on the ground as her best friend Cierra, small but mighty, came out of nowhere and slide tackled her down, kicking the ball out of bounds and knocking Tiffany down with it. The girls had gotten up laughing as Cierra asked, “Are you okay? Sorry, I was aiming for the ball.”
“Ya, I’m fine,” replied Tiffany. “I can walk it off.”

Tiffany looked around, seeking something she could use to get the key off the wall. She tried many different things including things that didn’t even make sense to try. Sometimes she would use a ball, which is a lousy choice to scrape something off the wall with, she found the door stopper and tried that, but the edge was way too chunky to wedge under the key. The pile of stuff off the shelves she had used kept growing as she threw all the things off the shelf onto the pile. Once the shelf was empty, she tried one last attempt to get out of the shed.
