The Benefits Of Humanistic Therapy
This is a tricky question, considering it all depends on what the issue that needs resolution. But going off of a broad idea I'd have to say I mostly agree with the humanistic variant. Humanistic therapy focuses on issues that are directly related to their current everyday situation. It focuses on changes that a person needs to make in their current lives in order to find peace with what ever issue they are currently facing. ( p.579-580)

I feel this would be the best approach (or even most of the insight therapy methods) to solve many issues, because a person has control over their own well being, of course there are some exceptions to this, but I see this fitting the case for a majority of problems. I've been doing more and more research

    I find the approaches of psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and person centered approaches to counseling fascinating. There are many different aspects to all three approaches that fit my personality. I do not believe that I would be able to pick one single approach and stick to it. I think CBT is beneficial for our clients because it challenges some of those deep rooted beliefs and negative thought patterns that can initially hinder treatment progress.     I have found solution-focused therapy to be very effective in my personal life and I completely believe in its effectiveness. The goal of therapy is to help clients to shift their language from talking about problems to talking about solutions for the problem.
