I stored the Datsun during the winter months and fixed rust issues with the wheel-wells. After winter had ended, I got excited to drive my car again. Before I could get halfway down the driveway though, a cloud of smoke started to emit from underneath the hood. My excitement immediately suspended itself and my instincts told me that my time to drive the car was not only just over, but a huge problem had occurred. I shut the car off and opened the hood and came to the conclusion the head gasket blew. When this happens, the engine needs to be taken apart in order to correct the problem. I almost shed tears as began to think about the time and effort I would need to repair the car. But in the midst of the issue I came to the conclusion that I would not pay anybody a $1,000.00 plus to fix my car. I was going to repair the engine myself. I was thrown into auto mechanics because of this.
In the middle of the catastrophe, positive aspects about the situation came to mind and had filled me with hope. My Datsun ran well
