The Best Time: Life in the Modern World
The Best Time
The world is evolving faster every year. Technology is the biggest and most remarkable form of evolution for the human being. Even though, a lot of people think that technology is the only thing that us, the human beings, have evolved they are wrong. Now we live in a better world, not just material things, we have improved many things, for example, education. Old people say that their time was better, and young people say that their time is better. We cannot know which time was better because we are not young two times in our life. Every generation has its pros and cons, that is why everybody should think just in the present and should not compare with other years, but still I think the time we live now is better than any other time. The time we live in now is better than my grandparents in technology, education, human rights, but is worse in health, family union.
One of the main reason people say this time is the best of all times it’s because of technology. Technology has made our lives easier in many different ways, for example, transportation, machines that reduced our work, medicine, communication. With all this technology we increased life expectancy because now we can cure more diseases; we have more resources for scientist to do research. Also, transportation is big deal because we can travel faster to different cities, states, even countries. The fact that the human beings invented a way to fly is pretty amazing for me, and not just around the planet, we found a way to go out of the space. Another thing that is really big is the way we can communicate. We can talk to someone that is thousands of miles away from us just by dialing a number in our small cellphone devices. We can do research or do almost anything on the internet.
